Well; what about that....a new decade dawns and the world goes into a meltdown factor. So much rapid change happens before our eyes, that it is hard for our brain to register all the details and thier immediate as well as long term implications.
Bombs exploding in Pakistan, airplanes crashing in Germany, floods in England and NSW in Australia, but right next door in Victoria Australia...there is drought. Politicians not understanding what people actually want to help progress the future of our species, the continual pollution of our atmosphere at an unbelieveable rate, the belief of politicians that a 190 million $ talkfest in Copenhagen will solve all our problems as we struggle to survive in an over-populated, over polluted and under-appreciated planet, the recieving of patterned electronic pulses from space that may indicate we are not alone, Tiger Woods loosing million dollar sponsors (but gaining a new one in Durex) with a product that is called the Tiger and has dimples like a golfball, the knowledge that the male of the human species will soon disappear due to the X-chromosome regressing at an increased evolutionary genetic rate (or simply just nagged to death??), the fact that a football field of rainforest in destroyed every 10 seconds and that there are only 1000 tigers left in the wild.......but the strangest, most hard to understand piece of news in the last 24 hours was the fact that Phil Kerr did not waste a spoiler in the weekend! |
